Moncton, New Brunswick was stop number eight on the Rockstar Energy Drink Canadian Nationals circuit and this year did not disappoint, track-wise, weather-wise or race-wise. The Riverglade crew had done a fantastic job getting the track groomed for the pro national on Sunday. Despite the fact that this track is a bit challenging for spectators viewing all the action, we give them a big thumbs up for their hard work and bringing us another memorable race on the national schedule. We have a glimpse of some of the highlights from the lens of James Lissimore.
After attempting to double-class last weekend, Brock Leitner decided to stick with the MX1 class where hes racking up the points.
Brock went 13-19 for a 15th OA at Riverglade.
Always a fan favourite at the Riverglade track, local pro Davey Fraser.
Fraser had a great first moto battling up to 9th spot. He had a hard crash and opted to leave the rest of moto two behind him. He finished the day with 17th overall.
Freedom Cycle rider, Devin Sleigh had a tough weekend getting taken out in the first moto. He soldiered back in moto two and was running hot up in top ten, only to get a flat tire to end his day.
Dylan Wright just keeps throwing down impressive rides here in the eastern leg of the nationals.
Wright sprinkles a little magic on his gate prep.
Mix some east coast soil with some flawless, Ottawa talent and you get yourself on the podium.
Id like to thank 100% for keeping the champagne out of my eyes. Wright finished the day with a 3-2 for a 2nd overall.
Guillaume St Cyr breaking out the new pink gear at Riverglade. He went 22nd overall for the day.
Hayden Halstead pushed the envelope this weekend, keeping his stats up in the top ten once again.
Halstead is working really hard to switch that #35 for a single digit number for 2017. He wrapped up his day with a 8-9 for 9th overall.
Jason Abernethy grabbing himself some east coast speed here went 25th for the day.
A veteran to the series, Jay Burke #38 always slays it on the track. Burke wrapped up the day with a 33-16 for 20th overall.
Ayr, Ontario native Jamie Hajgato pulled off a 29th for the day.
Coming on strong again this weekend was Pettis.
Pettis battling up near the front again this weekend, finished the day with 7-6 for a 7th overall.
A little custom detail for Pettis and Wright this weekend.
Keylan Meston continues to impress. A solid ride at Riverglade put him 8th overall.
Kyle Springman eyeing up the lines at Riverglade. Kyle put in a solid day with 22-18 for a 20th overall.
If you saw that pink streak flying by in MX1 it was Kyle Swanson in his new gear. Kyle finished his day with 11-12 for 11th overall.
Is the Pink Palace looking to start up a team next year? Give these guys a ring.
